We believe in functional, sustainable design.

For us, that means a combination of things.

Quality & Value: because disposable ≠ sustainable. We work with your budget to give you the best you can afford. We use vintage and artisan made pieces along with custom and retail products to give you a unique space that is truly yours.

Understanding: We don't want you to live in a cookie-cutter house. We strive to understand our clients personal style, wants and needs, to give you a home that reflects you and your family, that you look forward to being in every day.

We offer:

Full residential interior design services to get you from where you are to where you want to be.

The fusion of sustainable design with beauty, quality and functionality.

A healthier environment for you and your family - using ecologically sound materials and finishes where possible, recycling where we can, and choosing vintage over new when it makes sense.

Professional project development and management from start to finish.

Transparency in design fees

Engaging the services of an interior designer is typically considered a luxury. We want everyone to be able to afford good design. That is why our design fees and mark up are made clear from the outset in your contract.

We offer full design services on an hourly and cost-plus rate. Once we know the scope of your project, we will provide you with an estimate for our design fees (how many hours we believe it will take to create your plan) then implement your project, purchasing items for you at a cost-plus rate. We are able to take advantage of significant discounts on to-the-trade items, and we pass savings on to you wherever possible.

We aim to create good design within most budgets. Don't be afraid to reach out to us!

How it works:

To create your perfect space, we offer everything from floorplans and furniture selections, to renderings and project management.

Step 1 - Initial Inquiry

Submit an inquiry through our contact page. You will receive a response including a basic questionnaire and an overview of our services and fees. If you think we are a good fit, we'll set up a phone consultation to find out more about your space and needs and to introduce you to our company and how we work. We'll go over your wants and needs for the project, your budget, the basics of the design process, our fees, and any other questions or concerns you may have.

Step 2 - Design Agreement and First Meeting

We will meet with you in your home and discuss your project. This meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other, and for you to understand our design process. If your project is a renovation/custom home and you already have an architect/contractor, we will meet with them too at this point. We will collect measurements/floorplans, and ask questions about how you and your family use your space, your favourite colours and materials. After the meeting, we will provide you with a design agreement including an estimate of how many hours we will need to create your project and implement it. A deposit will also be collected at this stage. Once the agreement is signed and deposit received, we begin working on your project.

Step 3 - Creating your plan

We will create a custom design concept for your home. We will present you with our solution which will include floorplans, fabrics, furniture, paint samples, etc. We then take your feedback on the design, and adjust your plan if needed. This will become the final design plan.

Step 4 - Implementation

Once your design plan is approved, we begin to put it into place. Furnishings, accessories and materials are ordered, and construction/painting etc is scheduled. We will oversee the implementation of your project, managing your contractors and deliveries. As the project nears completion, we will be there to bring your design into reality, including arranging furniture and accessories.
